About Author

Cosmo C. Carruthers III

Cosmo arrived to Cancun as a young man. Some forty years later he became an old man. An old man with five grandchildren. Seeing his grandchildren struggling with learning two languages he decided to help them out by writing a few books about his native tongue, English. So, he wrote some books to teach English to his grandkids. That turned out pretty well. And now he’s offering them to the rest of the world. If you are searching for a way to help a young child learn English, take a look. Light-hearted, entertaining and full of tidbits to learn in the English language.

Before the end of the year, some of his other books will be available to read. The Great White Gods and Other Myths of the Mexican Caribbean relates to the lives of expats struggling to adapt to a different world in a newly minted Cancun. In a couple of months, you can read about those Awesome Possums, that irrepressible trio who decide to leave their home and explore the world. The human world they see turns out to be a totally different world when seen through the eyes of a possum.

And currently, at the suggestion of his grandson, he’s writing a book about all of those rascally English words that sound identical but have very different meanings. At least he’s not bored. These books will soon be available for the inquisitive. Keep in touch.
